Troughs, wash troughs, collection and effluent (launder) troughs constructed by MFG Water Treatment Products Company, are manufactured using fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP). The troughs are specifically designed for use in water and wastewater treatment plants and other applications where highly corrosive materials or chemical applications are used.  The troughs are available in a variety of sizes with round or flat bottoms, circular or straight to fit tank configuration.

The troughs are used as wash troughs or launders in the back washing of gravity filters and as collection troughs and effluent troughs in clarifiers, aeration tanks and settling basins.
