Defining The Best Filtration Technology For Your Industrial Process
The chart provided above provides some useful guidelines when defining the optimum filtering technology for Your industrial process. Compare Your required flow rate and the solids content of Your process stream to the curves for different filtration and drying equipment provided on the log-scale chart.
Tubular Filters are ideal for continuous filtration of process streams with low solids loading (<200 ppm) and high flow rates: 
TE Series Tubular Filters
  - Allow continuous filtration at flow rates
    from 1 to 5,000 gpm, with particle 
    retention down to 1 micron.

PTE Series Tubular Filters
  - Allow continuous filtration of almost any
    corrosive liquid with particle retention
    down to 1 micron.
PC Series Tubular Filters
  - Use precoat technology to allow
    continuous filtration with particle
    retention down to 0.1 micron and
    50% faster backwash.
PVC Series Tubular Filters
  - Designed for water and mildly
    aggressive process streams to
    1 micron, or low solids loading
    filtration for processes utilizing
    PVC piping.
Backwash Control
  - Manual or Automatic is available for all
    tubular filters, and a wide variety of
    Filter Media are available to suit your
    process requirements.
Pressure Leaf Filters are ideal for batch filtration of process streams with up to about 6 wt% solids loading, depending on application, and high flow rates:
